maybelline dream matte mousse foundation review

Hello everyone, I hope you r having a good time now. Today I'll be posting a review regarding a foundation. It is from the famous brand Maybelline, which is known as the Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. From the name itself, I'm pretty sure that you guys r able to guess the texture of it. Yes,it is a mousse type of foundation :D ermmm this is my first time trying a mousse type since I have used liquid n powder types before.

 

 

 

 

 

This is how it looks like.I have tested the shade Medium 2 Pure Beige before but it looked ashy on me. Finally I got this in the shade Medium 2.5 Natural Beige. There are other shades available too such as the following picture. You can purchase them in any drugstores like Watsons,Guardian,Caring Pharmacy n also big stores like AEON,Tesco and Giant. I got mine in Watsons for about RM 39.90 .

What Maybelline claims abt this product :

My opinion :

Pros :  - soft,spongy-like n smooth texture
           - weightless on skin
           - did not cause any breakouts so far
           - leaves a velvet matte finish
.          - wide range of shades

Cons : - dries up quite fast,ensure that you work a little faster when using it
           - coverage is mild to medium, needs a concealer to cover darker spots or serious acne scars.
           - has no pump n comes in a small glass jar,not hygienic
           - leaves a white cast on your face when you take pictures
           - doesn't last long,approximately 3-4 hours
           - may look dry and ashy on certain individuals

Overall, I am okay with this foundation as I rarely wear makeup. Yes you guys might be wondering why, but I just feel like there is something on my face whenever I apply makeup and also the hassles of removing it with cleansing oil and then washing my face. I am a lazy pig :D hahahaha :D
